The New York State court system announced today that beginning on Monday, April 13, 2020, its virtual courts will begin handling more than just essential and emergency matters. Judges were directed to review their caseloads and assess in which matters conferences can best advance and possibly resolve a case.

Judges will be available during normal court hours and are also being asked to decide fully submitted motions.

Beginning on April 1, all court operations in Nassau County are being conducted via Skype video conferencing. Each county’s updates can be found on www.nycourts.gov.
